《29岁的宇佐美启（玉木宏饰演）是一家一流IT公司的课长，住在高级公寓的最高层，但实际上他只是从二流大学毕业的角色，之所以能进一流公司并当上课长全仰仗未婚妻香川芽衣（贯地谷诗穗梨饰演）的关系。就在结婚前三个月，芽衣突然对启提出分手，启大惊失色，如此一来，不仅他的爱情，就连他的事业也将面临严重危机。一个雷雨交加的晚上，启垂头丧气地回到公寓，一个电梯里连同他总共有3男1女4人，就在电梯上升过程中，由于雷电关系突然停了下来，众人惊恐不已。就在焦躁之际，一个年龄稍长的男人提出了自我介绍的提议，他正是32岁的心理医生菊田正人（谷原章介饰演）；另一名年轻男子是26岁的专门为女性摄影的摄影师世良旺次郎（松田翔太饰演）；唯一的女性便是25岁精通三国语言的翻译逢沢爱瑠（香里奈饰演）。启不知不觉向他们唠叨着自己不顺的爱情，成为了众人的笑柄，就在此时，正人提出了一个大胆的建议，那就是交换伴侣！以一周为期限，大家轮换伴侣。他的提议让众人目瞪口呆，但是由于各自必须面对的问题和无奈，大家居然接受了这样“匪夷所思”的建议。于是，启的未婚妻芽衣、爱瑠的男友大石谕吉（DAIGO饰演）、小旺的女友——有夫之妇上条玲子（小岛圣饰演）和正人的病人海里（吉高由里子饰演）都被牵扯进了这场游戏之中
